Betty Bee's Buzz - EEK WEEK

It's Day 5 of our EEK WEEK! Hope you all are getting around our hive over on Betty Bee's Buzz and making yourselves comfy!

I wanted to share with you a project I made for Halloween this year and some of my favorite projects I've done in the past!

First off lets start with the new

This little gal I called Witche Pu. She's from a Tole Painting book I have. I traced her out on tracing paper and then stuck it on my copier. Sized her down and printed her out. I made 3 layers and popped dotted each one together after coloring her with Bic pens.

Her eyes and tooth are acyclic paint. The wonderful bubbles are Stickles. I used 4 different colors to give it dimension and zest.
I glued her to a paper bag and made her into a luminaries. Do you think she'll scare away the trick or treaters?
Next I will show you some of the Tole painting items I've done over the years. Ummm lets just say this is only a few of them. I love Halloween and I have approximately 13 large containers of decorations. LOL

Dancing Mr. Bones hangs on my front door and entertains you while you wait for me to answer

Freida sits on the front steps and is fixin' our dinner

Oops the moon wasn't out last night and look what I found on my light post!

I think she should have had this information ahead of time. (What do you think?)
Zelda is all ready to go out trick or treating

Hope you enjoyed my little collection. Off to scare the goblins away!

Delightful Challenge- Round and Round

This weeks challenge was to use circles!  I choose to use Pickles the Penguin. (Isn't he the cutest?)
The igloo is from the Christmas accessories pack. The sign is from Christmas sentiment pack.  I sized the igloo up to be a 5 x 7-ish card and put the Very Merry Christmas sign on top with my printmaster program.  I arranged the card on the bottom half of my page so when it printed out I would have the top half to fold over and cut out to make the shape card.  I printed the igloo out twice so that I could use the front of the igloo dimensional.  I colored everything with Bic markers.
Now attention to the details:
1. Color each line on igloo with light blue watercolor pencil
2. Using fine tip glue applicator make squiggly lines in each "ice block" adding very fine glitter on top.
3. Add cording to lines
4. Color the ordainment's with Bic markers, then add skittles on top with clear drying glue
5. Add front part of igloo with pop dots.
6.Add fur to penguin hat and snow around his feet
7. Pop dot penguin to front of igloo card

For my card this week, The adorable images I used are Caroling Penny, Santa Bryce and the accessories set.  I colored them with Bic markers.  The card I like to call a Easel with two side steps.
The paper is DCWV.  I added flocking to their hats and fur and snow on and around the tree.  Make sure you pop on over and join in on the fun.

Digi Day

Today is Digi day on SNR.  This cute little turkey is so appropriately named Tiny Turkey.
You can get him for free from Digital Delights for this week only.
I colored him with Bic markers.  The paper is by Debbie Mumm.  I sewed around the edges before assembling.  To finish off I used pop dots to add dimension to the turkey.

Delightful Challenge

Today's challenge is to use metal.  I chose little snowflake brads..
My cute little snowman is Jingles the Snowman.  I printed him out and then flipped the image and printed again so I could put them back to back.  I colored him with Bic markers and added stickles to give him a glistening of snow.
For the card I wanted it to look like an accordion style so I made up this one.  I ran the vellum though the Cuttlebug with the snowflake folder.  I then used the MS all around snowflake punch.. To finish it off I sew the Blue CS and the Vellum together.  Add brads to the Holiday Greeting saying and He's ready to dance for you!

Delightful Challenges

This week's challenge is Color: Red, White & Green.  The little Santa's helper is Edwina the Elf.  I colored her with Bic markers.  The brim of the hat has flocking and glitter on it.  The little silver bells are made from stickles.  Add to red brads to top it off.  The paper is just some I had laying around.  I put stickles around the little helper saying and added some rhinestones to make it look like a wreath.

I tied the card shut with some yarn.

Be Inspired #104 Breast Cancer Awareness

This week on Cuttlebug Challenge we are all focusing on Breast Cancer Awareness!
It's important to get those Mamo's so we can save the "Ta-Ta's".  The cute little gal is Thinking Pink Lara from Digital Delights.  I colored her with Bic markers and Gel pens.  The printed paper is computer generated.  I couldn't find any Breast Cancer paper so I bought scrapbooking pages online.  I used Coredination paper to back everything and cut the ribbon out with the Ribbon Awareness die cut on my Cuttlebug.  Added a prisma rose.  She's all set to give us Hope, Love & Courage.
