You are so sweet

I am so excited about this card. I was challenged to try something new. Something I've never done before but wanted to. I decide to try and do card stitching. I must say I'm in love with it. I got the pattern from Darsie Bruno. She has such wonderful patterns on her site. She also has tutorials to help us out to learn how to hand stitch. I stitched the pattern on Bazzil paper my dear sweet friend Kristi gave me. Then I used the Martha Stewart lattice punch to make the band across the middle. The metallic thread I used came from my mom’s stash. The image inside is from Phindy’s Place. I colored it with watercolor pencils. The yummy icing is done with icicle stickles. And the plate has Glossy accents on it to make it look like real glass. I finished it off with little rhinestones and gold corner brads.

Love

I made this little card with lots of help. The background is from Fred She Said, The Little Dove is Design to Delight and the Love graphic is from My Grafico.  I used clear embossing power to make the background shine after I colored it with watercolor pencils.  Then did the paper punching.   I used DCWV for the heart paper and added a little flower for an extra touch.

Science Board

My DD who is 8 had to do a science project.  She choose to find out which paper towel was the strongest.  We did the experiments and made her board.  She did all the gluing.. I cut the letters out with Schoolbook Plantin.  We sure had a lot of fun together.

My little caroliers are made out of pine wood. Painted with acrylic paint. The little christmas tree.  My children helped me make, is made by putting a dowel in a base then cutting different lengths of silver pipe cleaners, wrapping them around dowel to shape a Christmas tree. The ordinments are made from shrink art. ( I always call it skinky dink. I know showing my age again.) I used some of the clip art from My Grafico which you can find Here: http://www.mygrafico.com/stamps/christmas-stamps-and-brushes/prod_1401.html

We colored them with colored pencils before we shank them.
