Wanda's Whimsical Wonders

I don't have a blog spot so I'm using my Mom's. I need to do a service project to finish my Civics' class.  The first idea didn't work because I was going to clean the boat ramp at our park that is close to my home.  But because of all the rain it was too dangerous to complete it.  So I choose to clean a church building.  It turned out to be great!  I first walked around and figured out what needed to be done.  Then I helped organized my friends to get everything covered.  We all worked very hard.  My little brother came with us and he fell asleep on some chairs.  Will he fell off and cracked his chin opened.  We had to take him to the urgent care and have it put back together.  I had to clean up the pool of blood.  But it turned out great and gave me a good feeling knowing I was a part of making the building shine.

Wow!  Hello everyone.  I know it's been a very long time since I posted.  I've had to deal with some personal issues and couldn't dedicate my time to crafting.  But, I'm back!  I have been doing some really fun activities and having lots of fun with Betty from Bettybrett.blogspot.com .  She has amazing Friday try days. Her crops are the greatest.  I'm looking forward to the November one. It is called Candy Cane Lane. I'm even going to teach a class of my own in paper piecing. This class will be the 23rd of November.  More details on this to follow.    I've so missed crafting and I've missed my followers.  I always said " I love my computer because my friends are in it".  LOL  I will be posting pictures soon.  I just need to get this computer set up to do it with. Today I'm going to show you how to make this 5X7 Pop-Up Gift Card Holder.    I used Tangled Lights Reindeer . I hand sewed the string for the light bulbs. Used Flocking on the antlers and colored him with Water Colors Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my wonderful friends. Huggles,  Wanda

It's that time again!  I just love doing my Angel Tree.  We are adopting a Headstart classroom of 3 and 4 year old.  There are 20 children this year that we are going to try and provide them some Christmas joy! I made the ornaments with my imagine.  The cartridges are Christmas Cheer and Imagine More.  I printed and cut the ornament fronts first and then I cut the "shadow" and glued them together.  Added some Stickles.  Gotta have bling and I use my 3d pen to write the name so that it pops.  If you would like to donate toward the kids.  You can send a "gift" to my Paypal account at iluvsnowmen@verizon.net
