I choose this little gal to start my holiday cards off. She can be found on sheet # 90 at Whoopsie Daisy.   Make sure you pop on over there.  She's got a wonderful sale right now.  BOGO and we all love that! The snowflakes are cut from When It's Cold Outside Cartridges. The Light Pearl Blue snowflake is from Coredinations Gemstones collection. It was cut at 5". The Silver background is also from the Coredinations Gemstones collection. The large white snowflake was cut at 5 1/2". before I assembled them I smeared stickles on the white cardstock snowflake to make it sparkle. The dark blue background is from the Recollections cardstock. I ran it though the Cuttlebug with the Snowflake flurries folder three different times to make the snowflakes over lap. The image is colored with Bic pens and watercolor pencils. For the silver bow and shoes I used the Sakura gel pen. Added sparkles to her eyes and a drop of stickles to the middle of the flower. Delightful Challenge - Make It Sparkle

This weeks challenge on Delightful Challenge is to make it sparkle!!!  I choose to use Joshua the Vampire and The Ghost in the cauldron .  Along with the Haunted House out of the Accessory set.   I started with the white cardstock card.  I painted the background with watercolors.  I then layered the Haunted House.  I colored the images with Bic pens.  I added stickles to make it sparkle!

Cuttlebug Challenge #102

This week's challenge is sponsored by Whoopsie Daisy ! We are challenged to make a cared with 1 bow and 2 buttons.  I choose this adorable little witch.  With Halloween around the corner she's trying to learn how to spook.  I don't thinks she's going to make it, since she's Too Cute To Spook.  The card is made with black cardstock.  I colored my little witch with Bic markers and highlight the silver with a Sukura Gel Pen.  I cut the moon out with the George cartridge and Cuttlebuged it with the Swirl folder.  Haded a orange gross-grain ribbon and two little orange buttons.  Tied with green embroidery thread.  Make sure you come on over and join us in the fun at Cuttlebug Challenge

Cuttin Up! With Crafty Secrets

This week on Cuttlebug Challenge we are walking down Memory Lane. I've been wanting to make a birthday calendar. I was given this wonderful Happy Birthday card from Crafty Secrets. I just knew I had to make it. I took a cork board that I got for $1.00 and went about to decorate it. The edging is done with an EK Sucess Birthday Candle punch which is then lined with ribbon. The months are cut out using Designer Calendar Cricut cartridge. The cute little calendar is from Home Helps, that I got with the membership from PC Crafters. Supplies: Crafty Secrets Scrap Cardstock Ribbon EK Success Birthday Candle punch Calendar Clip Art

Lattice Weave and Cuttlebug

Happy Monday!! Today I'm going to show you an easy way to make a simple card with Lattice Weave and your Cuttlebug. Lets start off by gathering our supplies: Ruler Scissors Bone Folder Craft Eraser Pencil Card Stock (two sided works best) 1. Cut cardstock to 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" 2.Score horizontally to form a top-fold card 3.Lightly draw a horitzon line on card front 7/8 inches below fold. Mark on fold 1 1/4 inches from left side, then every 1/4 inch thereafter, making last mark 3/4 inch from right edge. Repeat again on the line that you had drawn. Starting at 1 inch from left side, then every 1/4 inch thereafter, making last mark 1 inch from right edge. 4. Using scissors or craft knife, cut diagonally through both layers of card stock from each mark on fold to diagagonal mark on line below, making sure to keep cuts parallel to one another 5.With craft eraser, erase line and marks. 6. Open card and lay flat. Beginning at one end. fold every other tab to the left, tuckin...

Happy Birthday

For my Card I used the Happy Birthday phrase from Celebrate with Flourish. It is one of the Walmart Cricut Lite carts. The background confetti is made from my favorite editing programs. I just printed it out and cut to size. My cute little cupcakes are from My Grafico . I colored them with colored pencils.

Happy Birthday

For this card I used velumn that I Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday folder and cut the cake with the Cricut.  Super easy!

Cuttin up! My Pink Stamper

I made my card for an amazing friend who always makes our swarms a delicious hit! The paper I used is from the Jewel collection. I made diagonal slits across the top and then weaved them together. The edging can be found on the Martha Stewarts Elegant Cake Art cartridge. I used the stamp from the family and friends collection I colored the little bear image with Bic Markers. It was really fun to use such a quality stamp that I could stamp it on fabric ribbon. I placed a piece of paper under the side I didn't want to print on both sides. To finish it off I added little flowers and rhinestones.
