New Release!!! Peeking Ridley

I'm so excited about this month's New Releases at Digital Delights.  Love is in the air!!!  Ok maybe not quite yet.. But it has been around here.  I've had so much fun with Peeking Valentine Ridley..
I colored him with Koh-i-nor pencils and OMS, Bic pens, & last but not least Copic's.. It's so fun to have many mediums available to get the look you want.
Ridley is layered four times and the flowers on the fence have 2 layers.  The paper I used is DCWV & some scraps I had around the house.

Our Sponsor this week is:

Wow!  Hello everyone.  I know it's been a very long time since I posted.  I've had to deal with some personal issues and couldn't dedicate my time to crafting.  But, I'm back!  I have been doing some really fun activities and having lots of fun with Betty from Bettybrett.blogspot.com .  She has amazing Friday try days. Her crops are the greatest.  I'm looking forward to the November one. It is called Candy Cane Lane. I'm even going to teach a class of my own in paper piecing. This class will be the 23rd of November.  More details on this to follow.    I've so missed crafting and I've missed my followers.  I always said " I love my computer because my friends are in it".  LOL  I will be posting pictures soon.  I just need to get this computer set up to do it with. Huggles,  Wanda

Cuttlebug Challenge #48

Cuttlebug Challenge is having a month long celebration for their 1 year anniversay. This weeks challenge was a gift bag and card. For my gift bag I used a clipart from Daisie Company. I burnt around the edges to make it look old. (Little hint here. Don't do it in your kitchen even though there is water so if it get out of hand. It does set off the fire alarm. OOPS LOL ) Then I made the tag with my favorite folder for this project the Houndstooth. Tied it on with my twine to keep it in the same theme. My card I used Dustin Pike Digi-art Colored it with Bic pens and Gel pens. The inside of the card I used Clip art from Daisie Company and used the houndstooth folder again to distress the scroll.

Card Fairy Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Cricut Card Fairy Blog Hop. This month we are practicing being thankful for all the blessings in our lives. What are you thankful for? Do you stop daily and thank those around you for blessing you? Do you appreciate the small things in life? I sure hope so! With that in mind my wonderful fairies have put together some awesome THANKSGIVING/THANKFUL themed crafty items. Along the way there will be opportunities for inspiration, and blog candy. So make sure you hop all the way through, leave comments on every blog, I decided to cover all the bases. So I made this table tent that is for Thanksgiving and on the back I'm writing what I am thankful for on each family members place card.  If you would like to get the directions on how to make the table tent check out Betty Bee's Buzz .  Rosemary did a fantastic job on this.  I used Tim the Turkey from Digital Delights and colored him with Bic markers.  The paper is from K & company and Cardstock.  ...
